Who We Are

Between 2005 and 2015, the number of Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in Nigeria has grown from around 450,000 to roughly 17,000,000 and these figures are expected to grow exponentially over the years as more Nigerians are becoming entrepreneurial oriented. Sadly, only about 7% of these businesses access and leverage digital opportunities to grow their business despite the global digital market capping at around $90 Billion with Nigeria’s potential at $1.8 Billion. These small businesses are further challenged by lack of basic business skills and tools, skilled workforce, business infrastructures, amongst many others. At Converge Africa (Formerly Hitestroes Technologies Africa), we build, adapt, train and localize emerging Technologies, Solutions and Human Capital to meet the critical digital, skills, strategy and recruitment need(s) of these SMBs. Our core values are enshrined in our commitment to deliver secure, bespoke, innovative, cost-efficient, dynamic, timely, and user-friendly solutions tailored to give our customers value without compromising on quality and global best practices. We pride ourselves with training over 12,000 business owners and jobseekers in the past six years.

Why We Do What We Do

Sub-Saharan Africa is home to 13% of the world’s working-age population; a number that is set to increase to more than 17% by 2030, the world’s second largest after Asia. With more than 60% of its population under the age of 25, Sub-Saharan Africa is already the world’s youngest
region today – and, by 2030, will be home to more than one-quarter of the world’s total under-25 population.
Today, however, Sub-Saharan Africa is far removed from making optimal use of its human capital potential and under-prepared for the impending disruption to jobs and skills brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.Education and work in Sub-Saharan Africa will determine the livelihoods of nearly a billion people in the region and drive growth and development for generations to come. As one of the youngest populations in the world, it is imperative that adequate investments are made in education and learning that holds value in the labour market and prepares citizens for the world of tomorrow. Our mandate at Converge Africa (Formerly Hitestroes Technologies Africa) is to proactively close these skills gaps through relevant training and prepare this population for the future of work through future-oriented skills development and programs.
